As a stylist and floral designer, I strongly believe that florals and botanics are a crucial part of styling a space.  Whether it's your home space or your business space, florals can soften or dramatise a scheme - and help pull colour together.  For me, a room empty of botanica feels a little bare...and well...perhaps just a little unloved.

 

Lets face it, for most of us, flowers just make us happy...But not all of us are green fingered and able to keep plants alive, and as gorgeous as fresh flowers are, it is a huge expense to have them as part of your decor week in week out.  Enter the faux floral.  And I don't mean the nasty badly coloured plastic sphere domes we can find in the high street shops and supermarkets.  I mean delicious, dramatic, seasonal, wild and natural looking blooms put together as a florist would - but with the added skill of somebody who understands how artificial flowers work together as they behave differently of course to the real thing.
